In February 2021, Turkey Space Agency has introduced “National Space Program” that is prepared taking into account the global developments, with the aim to enable the coordinated and integrated execution of vision, strategies, targets and projects of Turkey in line with national space policy. In this process, we have designed the website of Turkey's Space Agency in a manner worthy of the National Space Program.

We do our best to demonstrate the seriousness of Turkey's space goals. During the wireframing phase, we created lots of different homepage ideas as a result of our meetings with the team and the agency. At the end, we decided to create a space using WebGL on the homepage and to support it with user interactions. After creating our atomic design elements, we started the design process.

Like the examples above, we proceeded with experimental models that we optimized for usability in many different sub-pages of the agency site. And we used WebGL technology on most of these pages.

Although this solution enables us to achieve exactly what we want while making the planned work come true, it was not easy to achieve the same result on every screen resolution, every device and every browser. Especially, we have made great efforts to ensure that our interaction-based components can be used on mobile in desktop comfort.

Finally, although it looks like” just a corporate website” at the end of the work, it was a great project that had a lot of challenges both in the areas of technology and design. Thanks to this project, we found the opportunity to challenge ourselves in many different areas and disciplines. We are very proud and happy to have such a project in the summer of 2020.
